Brokk demolition robot: remote-controlled demolition and concrete crushing
Kristiansand Bygg AS has three remote-controlled Brokk demolition robots: Brokk 60, Brokk 110 and Brokk 170. The machines are electric and are operated from a distance by our operator. They are used to chisel, crush and remove concrete and masonry where large machines cannot reach and where the work must be carried out in a controlled way.
We deliver the job with our own operator and machine. The machines are not rented out without an operator from us.

Our own operator and machine
Applications
Demolition and openings in concrete slabs and walls
Indoor work in shops, basements and confined spaces
Cutting concrete with a concrete crusher inside a shop in full operation, with little noise
Work in car parks and on ramps
Removal of concrete foundations and structures, also in places with difficult access
Bridge and concrete work on construction sites
Rock work in basements
The machines are lifted in by crane, truck or sling and set up where the work is to be done, also at height.
We have carried out Brokk work for Kystverket, Elkem, 3B Fiberglass, Hydro Høyanger and REC Solar.
Metal industry and smelters
Our Brokk machines are used for cleaning out and demolition in furnaces. The machines are controlled from a distance, so the operator stands safely outside the hazardous area. Examples of jobs:
Clearing refractory lining in a tall furnace, where sulphur in the bricks made it impossible for people to chisel.
Chiselling hot glass in a furnace.
We have carried out Brokk work for Elkem, 3B Fiberglass and Hydro Høyanger.
Together with our other services
Brokk work is often combined with concrete sawing, core drilling and wire sawing. We can saw the opening first and crush and remove the concrete afterwards, with the same team.
